BlackOps Terms of Use
Effective date: October 21, 2026
These terms are the end-user license agreement for BlackOps, the internal case-management application that Blackfish Investigative Partners LLC (“Blackfish”) provides to its staff. By signing in to BlackOps, you agree to them.
Who may use BlackOps
Blackfish staff and contractors whom Blackfish invites, using their Blackfish Google account. Accounts are personal: do not share your sign-in.
Permitted use
Use BlackOps only for Blackfish business, within the role and Divisions you have been given. Do not try to reach data outside your permissions, get around security controls, or copy data out of BlackOps except as your role allows.
Confidential information
Case, client and subject information is confidential and may be legally privileged. Handle it under Blackfish’s confidentiality policies and the law.
QuickBooks connection
BlackOps connects to Blackfish’s own QuickBooks Online company. Only authorized administrators connect it, approve invoices and send them, and a person reviews every invoice before it is created or sent.
Ownership and license
BlackOps and the records in it belong to Blackfish. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use BlackOps for your work at Blackfish. Third-party services used through BlackOps (Google, Intuit and DocuSign) are also subject to their own terms.
Changes and access
Blackfish may change BlackOps, or suspend or end your access, at any time, including when your employment or engagement ends.
No warranty; limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, BlackOps is provided as is, without warranties, and Blackfish is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
